  • My wife and I moved up here from Dallas, Texas about a year ago. We are Baptist by denomination but we left our options open when were looking for a new church home. And that is exactly what we found while attending Hyattstown United Methodist Church; a church "home". From the very first visit they made us feel very welcome. It is a fairly small church, in a fairly small community. We live within 5 miles of most of the member. It's a little older (mostly +60s) crowd than we were used to in Dallas, since my wife and I taught children’s church and a children’s choir. But it is a welcome change, we have learned so much from them all.

If you want to get a feel for our church community we are having a Harvest Fest Saturday October 20th 2007 from 3-6 with free food and events. Pumpkin carving, making scarecrows, roasting hot dogs & marshmallows over a bonfire, drinks, and more.
